Once a bubbly, friendly girl who got along with everyone—Sara now has her head down, keeping to herself and working hard with only one goal: to graduate and get the heck out of dodge. She hates Toronto and everyone in it; or that's what she tells herself. If you think you know her: no you don't. She'll push you away and act like she never had anything to do with you, even if you were the best of friends. And if you were her best friend, you'll probably want to figure out what's wrong with her even more.

Perhaps too pragmatic—he may have to keep an open mind to understand the true nature of his friends' issues, especially once the CSIS recruits him to uncover a scheme much closer to their hearts than he ever imagined.

But Phineas is haunted by the fact that his childhood friend—Sara—once up and disappeared with no warning. Now that she's back, he's stubbornly determined to help cheer her up, and recruits her to help the step-brothers prepare for the robotics competition, by designing logos and signage to promote their team.

He feels he owes it to her to protect her from the evil following them both—particularly his older brother, the Serpent.
